Consultations are by booked appointment. These can be made by telephone during the hours 08:00–18:30, Via patient online access or in person during opening hours.
If you are going to be late (more than 10 minutes) please inform the surgery or make another appointment.
Medically urgent cases can be fitted in on the day, please call the surgery at 08:00. This service is for conditions that cannot wait until the next available appointment; either they have happened overnight or an existing condition has worsened.
If you are over 16 years old and have not had a consultation within the past three years or if aged 75+years and have not had a consultation in the past 1 year, please make an appointment with our nurse for a check-up. We also offer health checks for those patients aged 40 – 74 to assess your risk of developing heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes or kidney disease and giving you personalised advice on how to reduce it.
Specialist and Hospital Care
If a GP or another member of our health care team believes you need hospital treatment or specialist care elsewhere, they will ask you where and when you would like to go. They can then book your appointment electronically while you wait.
If you would prefer to have some time to think before deciding where and when to have treatment, you will be given paperwork and a password to enable you to book the appointment yourself.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
