Repeat Prescriptions

Prescriptions take two full working days to be processed and please remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

Please do not wait until your medication has finished to put in a request. The best time to put in a prescription request is when you have one week of medication left. Please note we will discard requests that are put in more than one week in advance unless you have put a clear reason on your request slip.

Why not sign up to the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

you can nominate a pharmacy and we will send your prescription over to them, which will also save you time. It also prevents the loss of prescriptions. Going paperless  mean saving the environment!

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
